Goose Creek trustees weigh revised bond plan

The Goose Creek CISD board spent time discussing an updated bond referendum proposal, which aims to present items in three propositions for a total of $324.7 million. The board had previously discussed two options for another bond in the wake of a failed $437.5 million proposal voters turned down in May. McQuade’s day two highlights

On day two of the 43rd annual McQuade’s Softball Tournament, Walzak Building lost a heartbreaker in the Women’s D Division, while Corral Bar won big over Racine Plumbing in Men’s C Division. Walzak fell to Bones Arcade of Billings 16-14 via a Billings walk-off home run. Walzak will play again at 11 a.m. on Sunday. A victory in that game would send them to the championship, and a rematch with Bones Arcade.
